Dystopia: The Rock Opera

Website

Thrilling musicality, original songs, razor sharp political satire and spectacular masks.

A prison band of dictators and traitors takes you on an exhilarating journey from tyranny to enlightenment.

A Falkirk band whose satirical rock opera became one of the most talked-about cult musical theatre shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025 is now taking the production to London’s West End.  But Scottish audiences will have a chance to see it first.  Beldon Haigh’s Dystopia 26: The Rock Opera, written by Falkirk musician Justin Skelton, will tour Scotland in April before heading to London’s Leicester Square Theatre on 16 and 17 July.

And returning to Edinburgh Fringe 2026, at the Bedlam Theatre.
