Alan Emslie - Demon Drummer with Huge Drum Kit - returns, with stunning electric guitarist John Irvine,
for a special show to launch his new CD - Dark Matter -
on Wednesday 31st August at The Bongo Club, Edinburgh.

The CD continues the duo's sound explorations with its powerful fusion of progressive rock & chilled
soundscapes with a dark metal vibe,

Alan Emslie is one of Scotland's most versatile & exciting musicians. Whether touring worldwide with
renowned orchestras and such names as Sir Simon rattle or performing folk music with the Wrigley sisters
on Orkney, or on BBC TV performing in wigs and tights, or thrashing his massive drum kit & rocking out at
home in Edinburgh, Alan never stands still and is always ready to challenge you with his own unique style!

Alan is joined for this special show by guitarist John Irvine. John is a highly regarded guitarist and composer
and has worked extensively in Scottish theatre providing the music and sound design for over 50 productions.
John has recorded guitar on all Alan's solo cd's
