Fallen
from graces and places like Goodbye Mr McKenzie and BluesnTrouble,
the grizzly auld doods of Death Star 4 may have
more than a touch of grey, but they know how to rock. More Clash than
thrash, this new Edinburgh band is as fresh in its attitude as it
is mature in its musical roots and experience.
A
pounding rhythm section, swirling fx guitar riffs and growling vocals
that take you to the dark side. Original songs with power chords and
hooks you wont escape; songs about everything from life, love
and ghost towns to computer games, modern war and Mary Queen of Scots.
2006
is going to be busy for the band new gigs, including a regular
monthly slot at Edinburghs Three Tuns, and their first CD on
the way. Not
to mention the imminent appearance of episode 4 of the online adventures
of the bands 2D alter-egos.
See
Death Star 4 in action on the Sat 28 January at Edinburghs
newest venue, The eXchange, as part of livemusicXs
innovative showcase.

of Goodbye Mr MacKenzie), Willie Pettigrew on bass (original
member of BluesnTrouble), brother Roy Pettigrew

of Scotlands leading photographers).
Death
Star 4 are Raw Power with a Scottish Heart
the Art of Rock Music played loud, brash and definitely 4real.
