Edinburgh Fringe 2019
Scary Biscuits is delighted to be back at Edinburgh Fringe for 2019, with an exciting programme of top quality music and dance, all from Scotland, but with strong international flavours, award winning performers, including some stunningly talented women. The first 2 shows are announced and up for sale now (see below for info and links).
I’ll be based at some of my favourite venues – The Queen’s Hall, New Town Theatre (run by The Stand Comedy Club) and Dance Base. And a very exciting, brand new, and very quirky venue… watch this space as they say!

Christine Bovill: Tonight You Belong To Me
New Town Theatre (Grand Hall)
Fri 16- Sun 25 Aug, 7.10pm (8.25pm)
Brand new show from the award winning, 5 star Glaswegian chanteuse who combines heartmelting vocals and a smoky, evocative voice with engrossing stories and songs from the Jazz Age.
Christine cherrypicks some of the most celebrated songs and stories from the period – the era of Prohibition, womens’ voting rights, radio, flappers, vamps, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Dorothy Parker, Charlie Chaplin, Charles Lindbergh and Bessie Smith. A decade of heroes and villains; of sex scandals; literary giants and criminal low lives – all beautifully bound in the seductive rhythms of Jazz.
