Gorgeous raven haired Irish/French chanteuse Camille was feeling less than glamorous as she opened her Edinburgh fringe show this week. The hair extensions which were put in for a recent film shoot were starting to fall out. There was an ever increasing trail of black hair around the Spiegel Garden, where she is performing.

Fortunately a call to Edinburgh’s top hairdresser Charlie Miller’s saved the day! They offered a complimentary emergency appointment and after a couple of hours with Senior Stylist Richard Begg the offending extensions were gone and her tresses were back to their usual glossy sheen.

Camille (and her new hairstyle!) can be seen at the Spiegel Garden where she sings the dark, passionate songs of Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Jacques Brel in her own show at 8pm. She also appears in the venue’s sellout late night show La Clique – the sultriest circus in town.

Later this year she can be seen co-starring with Will Young, Dame Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins in the new Stephen Frears’ film – Mrs Henderson Presents.
