On the morning of the Big Gig (Burnsong Gathering) on Fri 30th Nov, Andi has been invited to the BBC studios in Glasgow record a session for The Iain Anderson Show to be broadcast the same night.

Burnsong Gathering 2007
Congratulations to Andi – announced as one of 12 finalists in Burnsong Gathering 2007, the national competition set up to find and promote the best new songwriting talent in Scotland.
The prize includes a week-long residency to work on her song, Home, with industry professionals, and a performance slot at The Big Gig (at the new BBC HQ, Pacific Quay, Glasgow) on 30 Nov.
Hundreds of entries were received for The Gathering 2007, from people of all ages and differing musical styles from across Scotland. The panel of judges included Ronnie Gurr former head of A&R at V2 records, singer-songwriter Karine Polwart, music journalist Tim Barr, Head of Radio at BBC Scotland Jeff Zycinski and other experts in their fields in the music industry. Burnsong was created by Dumfries and Galloway Arts Association, an independent arts development agency serving south west Scotland. The project is funded by the Scottish Executive, Scottish Arts Council and supported by media partner BBC Radio Scotland.
